Clementi Neighbourhood Police Centre
Co-located with Clementi Police Divisional Headquarters, the Clementi NPC was opened on 29 April 1998. Clementi NPC is a One-Stop Total Community Policing Centre whereby police officers provide the full range of police services such as fast response, on-scene investigation and counter services. This is made possible due to the integration from the previous NPP system. NPC officers can serve residents better because they are trained to handle the entire service processes. Residents can expect faster response, more immediate investigation, better counter service, more frequent patrols and sharper community focus.
An important aspect of the NPC system is the enhanced community-police relationship. This important relationship ensures a higher level of safety and security for the community and envisage a safe and secure best home is available for the community.
Bukit Merah West Neighbourhood Police Centre
The Bukit Merah West Neighbourhood Police Centre (BMW NPC) is one of the four NPCs under Clementi Police Division Headquarters. With a strength of about 80 officers, BMW NPC maintains law and order in an area covering four housing estates including Bukit Merah, Henderson, Leng Kee and Telok Blangah as well as the resort island of Sentosa. BMW NPC first started operations at No. 2 Lengkok Bahru on 29 April 1998. It has since shifted to its new premise located at 500 Bukit Merah View in February 2000 and became the first NPC to be co-located with a Community Centre. The NPC was officially opened in a joint ceremony with Henderson CC on 19 November 2000 by former MP Associate Professor S. Vasoo.
Jurong East Neighbourhood Police Centre
Jurong East Neighbourhood Police Centre (JE NPC), co-located with Yuhua Community Club, was opened to the public on 14 May 2002.
Being in the proximity if Yuhua Community Club allows JE NPC to bond closely with the community. This brings about a closer working relationship between police and the community in the fight against crime within the neighbourhood.
Queenstown Neighbourhood NPC
Queenstown Neighbourhood Police Centre (NPC), the pioneer NPC, launched on 1 October 1997 and then officially launched on 20 December 1997 by Minister for Home Affairs, Mr Wong Kang Seng. Community Liaison is crucial for the success of the NPC. NPC officers work closely with the Community and Grassroots Organisations such as Residents' Committees (RC), Neighbourhood Committees (NC), Citizens Consultative Committees (CCC) and Community Development Councils (CDC) to address the community's Safety & Security concerns.
