Introduction
Manpower Department was formed after the re-organization of Department for Admin and Manpower in Singapore Police Force in 1993. As the former self of Department of Admin and Manpower, we have emerged to become the staff authority to deal with all HR matters in the Singapore Police Force.

Roles and Functions
Our roles and Function involves
a) All HR functions including administration of terms of conditions of Service, postings, promotion, career development, performance management and talent grooming.
b) All Recruitment functions including recruitment programmes, career talks and scholarship administration
c) All Discipline matters to maintain discipline and integrity in the force and administration and processing of awards to deserving officers
d) All Manpower Planning functions including planning for optimal manpower resources through careful monitoring of trends and compensation package as well as long term strategic manpower planning
e) To provide psychological expertise in the Singapore Police Force so as to enhance the operational effectiveness and well-being of the organization and its officers
f) To promotes esprit de corps among the officers and enhances their welfare and general well being through the administering of welfare amenities/schemes and activities like recreational facilities, sporting activities and financial assistance scheme |
