How do I make payment of traffic fines through Singapore Post.
There are a few payment avenues that you can choose from:

Payment at Self-Service Automated Machine (S.A.M.)
You can choose to pay at Singapore Post's Self-Service Automated Machine (S.A.M.). S.A.Ms are conveniently located island wide. You can click here for the latest S.A.M locations. Here are the steps for making your Traffic Police fine payment at S.A.M.:

Enter your NRIC/Fin/Company Registered No. and touch OK to continue. |

Payment at S.A.M. is via NETS using an ATM card only. Insert your ATM card and key in your pin number. |

Payment through vPOST
Virtual Post or vPOST is an online bill payment service by Singapore Post that allows you to make your Traffic Police fine payments in the comfort of your own home or office. To start making your payments, simply follow these steps:

Visit www.vpost.com.sg and key in your User ID and password on the left navigator. |

Click on the "Pay Bills" button on the Left Navigator of the welcome page. |

| 2. What is vPOST? |
| vPOST, or virtual post, allows companies to send electronic bills to their individual customers and provide them the convenience of paying their bills online. It was launched in November 1999. | 3. Can I still continue paying via the old modes - personally at TP, AXS stations, by cheque, ATM machines, e-citizen website, phone-banking? |

| 4. How should I pay my traffic fines using the S.A.M stations? |
| All you need is a bank account with one of the four banks and you can pay your traffic fines through the S.A.M stations, 24 hours a day with your ATM NETs card. |
| 5. There are two sets of numbers on my traffic summons, which one should I use when making payment? |
| For payment via S.A.M stations, use only the 16-digit Payment Reference Number. Alternatively, you can check your outstanding traffic fines by your vehicle number. |
| 6. Can I pay my traffic fines using the S.A.M stations after the expiry date? |
| No. You cannot pay your traffic fines after the expiry date. |
| 7. What must I do instead? |
| Pay your fines at AXS stations before 12 noon on the Court date stated on the notice. |
| 8. What is the difference between payment at S.A.M. and AXS stations? |
For S.A.M stations, users can opt to pay their traffic fine by just keying in their vehicle no. in addition to option of keying in the reference no. of the fine. For AXS stations, users pay using reference no.
Traffic fines after the expiry date before 12 noon on the Court date stated on the notice can only be made at the AXS stations as it has been gazetted as a virtual judge. Traffic fines paid after the expiry date are generally higher than those paid within the validity period. Users are therefore encouraged to pay their fines early, before the expiry date. |
| 9. Will I be issued with any receipt for payment of traffic fines using the S.A.M stations? |
| For payment via S.A.M. station, a transaction receipt will be issued upon successful transaction. |
