The Home Affairs Learning & Growth Opportunities (HALO) Programme is a degree sponsorship programme which provides sponsorship to top-performing HUS/ICA junior officers to pursue their full-time undergraduate studies in one of the local universities. |

What are the benefits of the HALO Programme? |

The unique features of the HALO Programme are that officers selected for the programme will: |

Be given full-sponsorship to study in one of the local universities;
|
| b |
Be allowed to pursue their degree studies on a full-time basis; |
| c |
Continue to draw their full salary whilst they are studying; and |
| d |
Be emplaced on the senior officer scheme of service upon the successful completion of their degree studies. |

Which universities can Home Team officers enrol in as part of the HALO Programme? |
| A3 |
Officers may enrol in any of the three recognised local universities, namely:
(a) National University of Singapore (NUS);
(b) Nanyang Technological University (NTU); or
(c) Singapore Management University (SMU).
Officers may pursue a bachelor degree in any discipline, except architecture, medicine, and dentistry. |
