As a Local Merit Scholar in the Singapore Police Force, the recipient will enjoy an all-expenses paid scholarship with local universities.
Upon graduation, the scholars will be given challenging assignments and postings that allow them to hone their strategic planning skills, leadership abilities as well as organisational skills.
Eligibility
Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents with the intention of taking up citizenship
Good performance in National Service
Good co-curricular activities (CCA) record
GCE 'A' levels*, Polytechnic diploma with Merit or equivalent e.g. IB

Condition of Award
Successful recipients of LMS award will have to fulfill a 4-year bond.
Courses of Study
Most disciplines (Except Medicine, Dentistry and Architecture).
Applicants intending to pursue a degree in Law will not be called to the Bar while serving in the Home Team.
