The Singapore Police Force provides timely crime alerts to members of public who subscribe to our SMS Crime Alert services. Currently these services are provided through collaboration with the TelCos (M1, Singtel and Starhub) for their handphone postpaid subscribers.
Under the existing arrangement, Police will send the crime alerts to the TelCos, who would then assist to disseminate the crime alert SMSes to their subscribers. The intent of such crime alerts is to ensure that our community are better informed and aware of crime occurrences, and thus able to adopt appropriate preventive measures. The subscribers can also share the alerts with their family and friends.
This service is provided free-of-charge to handphone postpaid subscribers of the TelCos (M1, Singtel and Starhub). Interested subscribers just need to follow this simple steps :
