Environmental Protection

In today's context, it has become essential for leading public organisations to explore ways to balance businesses and ecology. The key dimensions of SPF's Environmental Responsibility Framework are aligned to the wider national policy as stipulated in the Singapore Green Plan (SGP) 2012, which was launched in August 2002 by the then Ministry of Environment.

The key elements of SPF's Environmental Responsibility Framework are as follows:

  • Top management commitment
  • Environmental management
  • Energy and resource use
  • Compliance with environmental legislation, regulations and standards
  • Purchase and contract management practices
  • Staff training and education
  • Continuous improvement (audit and management review)

SPF’s Environment Policy

We are committed towards environmental protection by managing energy & resource use; complying with environmental legislation & code of practices;raising the environmental awareness of the Force;as well as incorporating environmental consideration in infrastructure projects.
