Our Policy Statement on Societal Responsibility

We are an organisation that is responsible to the society we operate in. We embark on initiatives and activities that are beneficial to the society, and community, and those that are in line with community and nationalistic goals, through leveraging on our resources, strength and capabilities.

What is Corporate Societal Responsibility (CSR)?

Corporate Societal Responsibility means going beyond our mission of law and order to carry out initiatives and activities for the society's benefit. Besides keeping our country safe and secure, officers are constantly encouraged to help contribute further to Singapore society.

There are currently four main thrusts, namely:

- Organisational Development and Policing;
- Community Programmes;
- Sports and Promotion of Healthy Lifestyle; and
- Environmental Protection.

What do we achieve by promoting societal responsibility?

• Leveraging on our resources, especially manpower, to contribute to society
