SPF also encourages our officers to participate in professional sports such as football, sepak takraw, basketball, cross country marathons or runs to support and promote sports and healthy lifestyle. To show our commitment, SPF participates actively and releases officers to play in tournaments both locally and overseas.

In addition to pure sports promotion and participation, our sporting bodies/agencies such as HUFC and HUBT etc also organises sports camp for our youths. Besides promoting the sport, such activities also serve to instill the value of teamwork and the spirit of competition among our youths. SPF's Police Sports Association (PSA) is also another group within SPF that is very active in the participation, organisation and promotion of community sports as a means to reach out to the community, promote and support healthy lifestyles campaigns. For example, the long-running Police Schools Rugby Cup has been held on an annual basis.
