TRANSFER OF WIDTH AND EXPRESSWAY PERMIT FUNCTIONS TO LAND TRANSPORT AUTHORITY
 

From 1 November 2010, Land Transport Authority (LTA) will take over the administration and enforcement of width and expressway permits from the Traffic Police (TP).

Applicants who wish to apply for width or expressway permits from 1 November 2010 onwards may do so via the following channels:

Width Permit

Expressway Permit

Applicants can apply for the permit at the following website: http://prompt.lta.gov.sg

Alternatively, applicants may also proceed to LTA Road Infrastructure Management (RIM) office at Hampshire Road Blk 3 Level 2 where counter staff will assist applicants via the e-kiosks.

Applicants can download the application form at http://www.onemotoring.com.sg

 

The online applications must be submitted at least 3 working days before the requested movement date.

The applications can be submitted via fax number: 65535802 or email at excluded_veh@lta.gov.sg. The applications must be submitted at least 3 working days before the requested movement date.

TP permit section will cease processing fresh applications for width and expressway permits on 29 October 2010 at 5pm.
