Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) On Booking For Practical Test
1.

How can I book for practical test?

 

The booking for practical tests can be done at any of the three driving centres at Singapore Safety Driving Centre, Bukit Batok Driving Centre and Comfort Driving Centre. If you have previously opened an account with the driving centre less than 6 months ago, you may book for your practical test at either the self service kiosks or the internet website of the specific driving centre.

However, if your account has expired (6 months from the date of application), you will need to renew your account again with the driving centre. After you have renewed an account, you may book for the practical test at either the self service kiosks or the internet website of the specific driving centre.

How much does it cost to renew the account with the driving centre?

 

The driving centres charge an administrative fee of $5.35 inclusive of GST (non-refundable) for renewal of an account. This account provides candidates with the following services:

Schedules of test dates, timings and classroom allocations
Booking of test dates via Internet, including changing and cancelling bookings

Can practical test be booked online?

 

Yes. Practical driving test dates can be booked through the schools' respective websites.

 
4.

How much does a practical test cost?

 

The practical driving test costs $20/-

 
5.

What time/days are practical tests available?

 

Practical driving tests are conducted from 8.30 am to 5 pm on Monday - Friday and from 8.30 am to 12 pm on Saturday. No tests will be conducted on Sundays and public holidays

 
6.

. Can I choose the date and time of the test?

 

Yes. You can choose the test slot displayed on the respective school's self-service kiosks and internet website

 
7.

Can someone book the tests on my behalf? Is there proxy booking?

 

Please check with the schools. (For private candidates, their Private Driving Instructor can help them book a slot provided the PDI is one of their members)

 
8.

What documents do I need to bring when taking my practical test?

 

Your identity card, provisional driving licence and receipt or booking slip.
