LICENSING CONDITIONS FOR LICENCE TO MANUFACTURE ARMS (INCLUDING KNIVES & SWORDS)

1 The manufacture of arms shall be restricted within the approved premises as stated in the licence. Licensee shall not carry out such activities in other premises without the prior approval from the Licensing Officer.
2 The licensee is to ensure that the following conditions are strictly complied with:
 
(a) the arms manufactured shall have the manufacturer’s name inscribed on them;
(b)

the arms manufactured shall be exported or sold to the government departments or Statutory Board within Singapore;

(c) the arms shall not be sold to retail shop or individual person; and
(d) to maintain records on the number of arms manufactured and sold. The records shall also contain information on the names and particulars of organization to whom sold and quantity involved
3 The licensee is required to notify the Licensing Officer of any change of address before shifting to a new address.
4 The licensee shall submit the particulars of all new employees (Name, NRIC, address and designation) to the Licensing Officer for approval before they are employed.
5 Where any person ceases to be employed by the company, the licensee shall notify the Licensing Officer within 14 days of the cessation of employment.
6 The licensee shall immediately report to Police upon detection of any signs / indications of unauthorised access or loss of any arms or any component parts of any arms.
7 The licence is issued subject to all the provisions of the Arms and Explosives Act (Chapter 13) and of the Rules made there under.
