This pertains to collections by way of appealing to the public, through visits from house to house or soliciting in streets or other places or by both such means, for money or other property, for which a licence is required under the House to House and Street Collections Act Cap 128. A licence is however not required if collections for a fund raising activity are solely from friends and family members.  

The processing time for such applications is 10 working days from the date of receipt of the application.
