Public Entertainment Licence (Ad-hoc)
  Under the Public Entertainments and Meetings Act Cap 257, any form of public entertainment activity that is provided in any place to which the public or any class of public has access, whether gratuitously or otherwise, will require a Public Entertainment Licence unless otherwise exempted.
  1. Demonstrate support for or opposition to the views or actions of any person, group of persons or any government;
  2. Publicise a cause or campaign; or
  3. Mark or commemorate any event

Examples:

  • Acrobatic or gymnastic show
  • Beauty pageant or fashion show
  • Boxing or wrestling
  • Circus
  • Computer games
  • Demonstration of art and craft, culture or sports
  • Game machine/pin-table
  • Games of skill
  • Karaoke Magic shows
  • Performance of music, singing or dancing or variety act
  • Transmission of recorded music

 

 

The processing time for such applications is 12 working days from the date of receipt of the application.

If the event requires partial or full closure of any road, the applications are to be submitted at least 21 working days before the date of the event.
