Under the Private Lotteries Act Cap 250, a private lottery permit is required for the promotion or conduct of any private lottery. Private lottery means a lottery which is confined to members of a society established and conducted for purposes not connected with gaming, wagering or lotteries, such as operation of fruit machines at a registered members’ club.  

The processing time for such applications is 12 working days from the date of receipt of the application.
