| PERMIT CONDITIONS FOR A LANTERN FESTIVAL PROCESSION | |
| 1 |
The permit holder shall not without reasonable excuse be absent from the procession. |

The permit holder shall ensure that the procession is held within the time specified in the permit. |
| 3 | The permit holder shall ensure that no singing or music, gongs, drums or music-producing equipment is played during the procession unless authorised by the police officer granting the permit. |
| 4 | The permit holder shall ensure that no public address system is used during the procession unless authorised by the police officer granting the permit. |
| 5 | The permit holder shall ensure that the number of participants in the procession do not exceed the number specified in the permit. |
| 6 |
The permit holder shall ensure that no banner, poster or placard is displayed unless authorised by the police officer granting the permit. |
| 7 | The permit holder shall obtain the permission of the relevant authorities for the use of the public areas or gardens. |
| 8 | The permit holder shall ensure that the foot procession does not deviate from the approved route. |
| 9 | The permit holder shall ensure that the participants assemble at a designated venue before proceeding on foot to the selected destination. |
| 10 |
The permit holder shall ensure that the participants comply strictly with all traffic rules and regulations. |
| 11 | The permit holder shall ensure that the foot procession does not spill over to the main road and sufficient marshals are deployed along the route to ensure the safety of the participants. |
| 12 | The permit holder shall not allow vehicles to be used during the procession. |
| 13 | Without prejudice to the above conditions, the police officer granting the permit may impose such additional conditions as he thinks fit. |
