| PERMIT CONDITIONS FOR WALKATHON OR JOGATHON | |
| 1 |
The permit holder shall not without reasonable excuse be absent from the procession. |

The permit holder shall ensure that the procession is held within the time specified in the permit. |
| 3 | The permit holder shall ensure that no singing or music, gongs, drums or music-producing equipment is played during the procession unless authorised by the police officer granting the permit. |
| 4 | The permit holder shall ensure that no public address system is used during the procession unless authorised by the police officer granting the permit. |
| 5 | The permit holder shall ensure that the number of participants in the procession do not exceed the number specified in the permit. |
| 6 | The permit holder shall ensure that no banner, poster or placard is displayed unless authorised by the police officer granting the permit. |
| 7 | The permit holder shall ensure that the procession does not deviate from the approved route. |
| 8 | The permit holder shall deploy sufficient road marshals along the route to ensure the safety of the participants and other road users. |
| 9 | The permit holder shall ensure that the participants comply strictly with all traffic rules and regulations and use foot-paths/ pavements or pedestrian crossings whenever available along the road. |
| 10 |
The permit holder shall deploy sufficient medically trained personnel along the route to render first aid to the participants. |
| 11 | The permit holder shall ensure that the participants do not solicit sponsorship or monetary contribution during the procession. |
| 12 | The permit holder shall set up sufficient barricades along the route to segregate the participants from the moving traffic. |
| 13 | The permit holder shall set up sufficient signages and blinker lights to forewarn motorists along the route. |
| 14 |
The permit holder shall ensure that the participants do not cause obstruction to traffic and other road users. |
| 15 | The permit holder shall obtain the approval of other relevant authorities such as MRTC, SLA and NPB. |
| 16 |
Without prejudice to the above conditions, the police officer granting the permit may impose such additional conditions as he thinks fit. |
