| GUIDELINES TO HOLD A PUBLIC TALK, SEMINAR, DEBATE OR DISCUSSSION | ||
The applicant is required to provide the particulars of the speakers, comprising the following, in the application form: |

| The applicant is also required to submit a synopsis and summary of the talk, seminar, debate or discussion together with the CVs of the speakers. | ||
| The application form, synopsis and summary of the talk, seminar, debate or discussion, and the CVs of the speakers shall be submitted at least 4 working days before the date of the talk, seminar, debate or discussion itself. | ||
| The approval of the Ministry of Manpower is required if speaker is a foreigner and is giving a talk on racial, communal, religious, caused-related or political topics. The applicant has to submit the letter of approval for a Miscellaneous Work Pass (for foreign speaker) to the Police Officer before a permit can be issued. | ||
| Approval for the use of the premises for the talk must be obtained from other relevant authorities such as Town Council, LTA, Singapore Land Authority and URA. | ||
| 6 | The Police Division where the talk, seminar, debate or discussion is to be held shall process the application. The addresses and telephone numbers of the 6 Police Divisions are as follows: | |
