SECONDHAND GOODS DEALERS
	Rules and Regulations

1	All secondhand goods dealers whether exempted or licensed will have to abide by the provisions of the Secondhand Goods Dealers Act, Cap 288A, and the rules made thereunder. The Secondhand Goods Dealers Act is available here while the Rules are available here.
2	Dealers are to note that under the Secondhand Goods Dealers Rule No 7, they are to use the templates provided by the Licensing Officer to keep the secondhand goods transaction records. The templates can be downloaded here .
3	Any dealer found operating in contravention to the regulations shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $20,000 or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 12 months or to both.
