In an overnight operation last night, officers from the Criminal Investigation Department and Tanglin Police Division arrested 27 persons for various criminal offences at entertainment outlets along Orchard Road.

The operation, which started on 4 Feb 2010 at about 1am and lasted till 3.30am, saw raids conducted at entertainment outlets along Orchard Road and the vicinity, resulting in the arrest of 27 persons for a host of criminal offences including gang and vice-related activities.

Assistant Director of the Specialised Crime Division, Criminal Investigation Department, SUPT Goh Lam Kiong, commended the officers for their good work and said, “We will continue to conduct regular enforcement operations to uphold the law and keep crime off our streets.”

Police investigations are ongoing.
