Marina Bay (MB) NPC was launched on 7 June 2009 at 8 pm as SPF's 33rd NPC as part of Police's strategy to ensure a safe and secure Downtown Singapore that has become increasingly more vibrant, in particular with the impending opening of the Marina Bay Sands Integrated Resort.

Marina Bay NPC has operated from the Police Cantonment Complex since its launch. From 6 February 2010, it will be operating from a new building located at 1 Prince Edward Link Singapore 078872, and provide full counter services to members of the public.
