On 13 March 10 at about 10.30pm, Police were called to attend to a case of dispute at Blk 170 Toa Payoh Lorong 1. Upon Police's arrival, a 36 year-old man was found lying on the floor of the void deck at the said block with injuries. He was subsequently pronounced dead at about 11pm by paramedics.

A 57 year-old man has been arrested in connection with the case. He was arrested at about 10.55pm near Blk 168 Toa Payoh Lor 1.

The 57 year-old suspect will be charged in Court on 15 March 2010 for murder, which carries the death penalty.
