Four Youths Arrested For Pasir Ris Robberies
 

Police have arrested four 18 year-old youths who are believed to have committed two cases of robbery in Pasir Ris within the same night on 31 March 2010 .

On 31 March 2010 , between 1:00am and 3:00am , two cases of robbery were reported in Pasir Ris. The suspects had assaulted their victims (males in their late teens) before making away with their cash and valuables.

Following the reports, officers from Bedok Police Division conducted extensive enquiries and investigations to identify and apprehend the suspects. On 17 April 2010 , based on investigative leads, the officers mounted an operation and arrested the 4 suspects in Tampines and Pasir Ris.

All 4 suspects will be charged in Court on 19 April 2010 for the offence of Robbery with Common Intention under Section 392 read with Section 34 of the Penal Code, which carries a maximum of 14 years imprisonment.

Commander of Bedok Police Division, Deputy Assistant Commissioner of Police Teo Chun Ching, commended his officers for their good investigative work and resourcefulness in tracking down the suspects.
