In response to media queries, Police confirm that an AETOS constable was found dead with a gunshot wound to his head in a toilet of a building along Corporation Road yesterday afternoon.

The deceased, a male Chinese in his late thirties, had been working with AETOS for about two years and was attached to Tuas Checkpoint .

At around 3.30 pm , one of the deceased's colleagues found him in the toilet cubicle of the said building. The area is not accessible to the public. There was a gunshot wound to his head and his service revolver was found beside him. He was pronounced dead by paramedics at about 3.40pm.

No foul play is suspected. Police investigations are on-going.
