Police are looking for the man in the picture to assist with investigations into two cases of theft from pawnshops which occurred at Woodlands and Jurong West on 23 and 24 Jun 2010.

In both cases, a male suspect posing as a potential customer had asked the shopkeeper to take out a piece of jewellery for him to try on and would even attempt to bargain over the price. However, he would then suddenly dash out of the shop, taking the jewellery with him.

The bespectacled man, who sports a moustache and goatee, is believed to be either Indian or Sikh. He is described to be about 1.78 m tall, with a big build, and is bald with tattoos on both his arms.
