Kreta Ayer Community Centre will be holding the Opening Ceremony for Mid-Autumn Festival on 11 September 2010 (Saturday) and the Mid-Autumn Festival Lantern Walk the following week on 18 September 2010 (Saturday). The Opening Ceremony is expected to draw a crowd of 20,000 while 5000 participants are expected to take part in the Lantern Walk.
To facilitate traffic arrangements for the events, the following roads/lanes will be closed to vehicular traffic during the stipulated duration:

In addition, Mosque Street will be converted into a two-way road on Saturday, 11 September 2010 from 2.00 pm to 11.00 pm.
Auxiliary Police officers will be deployed at all affected road junctions to regulate traffic and assist motorists. Parking restrictions along the peripheral roads will be strictly enforced. Vehicles found parking indiscriminately or causing obstruction will be towed away.
SBS and SMRT buses serving the affected roads will be diverted during the road closures.
