The Singapore Police Force Band was first set up in 1925 as the Republic’s first military band. Since then, the SPF has seen dramatic growth and development, transforming from a strictly regimental military band, to one which boasts the ability and versatility of performing a wide repertoire of music, from ethnic favourites to orchestral classics. Besides entertaining the SPF band has also not forgotten its responsibility Towards performing for the community in order to promote the positive image of SPF e.g. Art of Healing, Yellow Ribbon, Make a wish Foundation.
