Overall crime reported in 2011 fell by 5.3% as compared to 2010. Four of the six crime classes1 registered significant percentage decreases, with improvements seen in the crime classes of Violent Property Crimes, Housebreaking and Related Crimes, Theft and Related Crimes, and Crimes Against Persons.
