In the first six-months of 2011, overall crime reported fell by 4.7% as compared to the same period last year. Four of the six crime classes1 have registered decreases, with improvements harvested in the crime classes of Housebreaking and Related Crimes, Violent Property Crimes, Theft and Related Crimes, and Crimes Against Persons.
